Township of Colts Neck, NJ Article II Deputy Clerk

[Adopted 12-26-1969 as Ch. 17 of the 1969 Code]

§ 46-8 Office established.

There is hereby established the office of Deputy Township Clerk.

§ 46-9 Term of office.

The term of said office shall be for a period of one year, commencing on the first day of each and every year.

§ 46-10 Compensation.

Compensation of the Deputy Township Clerk shall be fixed by the Township Committee.

§ 46-11 Absence of Municipal Clerk.

The Deputy Clerk shall have all the powers and perform all the duties of the Municipal Clerk during such time and for such specific periods as the Municipal Clerk shall be absent.
