Any nonelected Town of Elsmere employee hired
or contracted by the Town for services performed who wishes to file
as a candidate for any elected position within the Town of Elsmere
must submit in writing to the Mayor and Council a letter of resignation.
This letter of resignation must be submitted no later than the next
scheduled public meeting following the date of his or her official
filing as a candidate for the elected office.
