All buildings and structures within the corporate limits of the Town of Fenwick Island shall be numbered according to the government quadrant system of house numbering.
A chart or map shall be maintained in the Town Hall of the Town of Fenwick Island showing the proper assigned house numbers which shall be open for inspection by any citizen of the Town of Fenwick Island.

It shall be the duty of owners or occupants of every building or structure located within the Town of Fenwick Island to place or cause to be placed thereon ordinal house numbers in a manner to be visible from the street. They shall be four (4) inches high or larger, of a color which contrasts with the background color, no higher than ten (10) feet from grade level and unobstructed by landscaping, etc.

New structures will have house numbers issued with the building permit for said structures. Placement of house numbers on new structures shall be an additional requirement for a certificate of compliance.
Any person violating any section of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined five dollars ($5.) per day and shall pay the cost of prosecution. For the purposes of this chapter, each day that a violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
