Any person, corporation, company or other entity, being the owner, tenant or occupant of any house or other building, or the owner of any improved or unimproved lot, shall remove any snow, hail, ice or other matter or thing from any pavement, sidewalk or footway along and adjoining said premises within 24 hours of the time snow ceased to fall or the ice formed. Said owner, tenant or occupant shall cause a pathway to be cleared at least three feet in width along the pavement or sidewalk to the gutter to allow the free passage of pedestrians.
Any person, corporation, company or other entity found guilty of a violation of this article shall pay a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $100.
