Editor's Note: This ordinance also provided that it shall apply to a single lot within two years of the date upon which the property was transferred to the applicant; to a condominium unit at any time; and to any lot or condominium unit brought within the Town by annexation.
A. 
An impact fee of $1,436 per dwelling unit for the purposes hereof, including, but not limited to, all capital expenditures and improvements by the Town reasonably necessary or appropriate to provide for public works projects, police, administrative, and code enforcement services, shall be paid to the Town of Ocean View. Said impact fee shall further apply to each new residential dwelling unit (including single-family homes, townhouse units, apartment units, condominium units and mobile homes, if permitted), and to each residential, commercial, industrial or business unit proposed for annexation within the Town limits, and to each unit of any commercial, industrial or business office structure. The fee shall be due upon the issuance of a building permit. All residential units, commercial, business or industrial units or structures which have been issued a building permit prior to the date of enactment of this chapter shall be exempt from the impact fee imposed by this chapter.
B. 
An impact fee of $500 per dwelling unit for the benefit of volunteer fire service and other organized providers of fire protection and emergency services to the Town of Ocean View, shall be paid to the Town of Ocean View Emergency Services Enhancement Funding Program. Said impact fee shall apply to each new residential dwelling unit (including single-family homes, townhouse units, apartment units, condominium units and mobile homes, if permitted), and to each residential, commercial, industrial or business unit proposed for annexation within the Town limits, and to each unit of any commercial, industrial or business office structure. The fee shall be due upon the issuance of a building permit. All residential units, commercial, business or industrial units or structures which have been issued a building permit prior to the effective date of this chapter shall be exempt from the impact fee imposed by this chapter.
