The sale of alcoholic liquor shall be permitted in the Town of Colchester on Sundays in accordance with state statutes.
[Adopted 7-8-1982]
As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Includes all types of liquor, liqueurs, beer, ale and wine.
TOWN RECREATIONAL FACILITY
All that area owned by the Town of Colchester on the southwesterly side of Old Hebron Road and such other land which may be acquired from time to time which has been set aside for recreational purposes.

No person shall, while within the confines of the Town recreational area, consume or have in their possession any alcoholic beverages.
The Recreational Commission of the Town of Colchester may by a formal written resolution of the Commission suspend the prohibition of this article for such special event as it may deem appropriate and proper.
Violation of this article shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $99.
