Pursuant to § 7-258 of the Connecticut
General Statutes, the Collector of Revenue of the Town of East Hampton
is designated as collector of sewerage system connection and use charges.
Said collector shall collect and receive, in accordance with the provisions
of the Connecticut General Statutes for the collection of property
taxes, all charges levied or to be levied by the East Hampton Water
and Sewer Authority (Water Pollution Control Authority) relating to
the use, maintenance and construction of the public sewers in the
Town, including but not limited to connection charges, use fees, beneficial
assessments and fees and interest which may, by law, be added thereto.
This article shall become effective with the
election and qualification of a Collector of Revenue on or after Tuesday,
November 5, 1985, and shall continue in force thereafter.
