The City Council shall, by resolution, fix and
determine the wages and compensation to be paid all officers and employees
of the City of Breckenridge, except the compensation of those persons
who are employed by the Public Utilities Commission and except for
the Mayor and Councilpersons, whose compensation is determined under
the Charter provisions or state law.
The compensation so fixed and determined by
the Council may include group insurance coverage to the extent permitted
by law.
The City Council may also, by resolution, provide
for vacations, sick leave, leaves of absences, holidays and other
matters pertaining to employment.
