Upon the commencement of a period of confinement at the Gerald L. Gormley Justice Facility, and upon the first day of each month thereafter, a fee in the amount of $50 shall be due from each inmate. Said fees shall be utilized to assist in offsetting costs associated with incarceration and provision of inmate services (such as room, board and meals). The initial fee and any subsequent monthly assessments shall constitute charges against each inmate's prison account and shall be in addition to any other charge or fee which may from time to time be charged or assessed to an inmate's account for expenses which may include, but are not limited to, personal hygiene supplies, transportation, medical, commissary or other charges or expenses.
