Any septic system permit issued by the Atlantic
County Division of Public Health is valid for one year from date of
issue.
The County no longer accepts requests for the
updating of any permit issued prior to January 1, 1990.
If an approved septic system has not been installed
and the permit expires after the one-year period, the permit holder
must apply for a new permit, which will be reviewed under the rules
in effect at the time of the new application.
