There are created in the Borough the positions of Dock Master and Assistant Dock Master.
The Dock Master and Assistant Dock Master shall be nominated by the Mayor, by and with the advice and consent of the Council.

The Dock Master and Assistant Dock Master shall hold office during the pleasure of the Council.
It shall be the duty of the Dock Master and Assistant Dock Master and they are hereby empowered to enforce all ordinances and resolutions and laws of the Borough relative to the movement or harboring of boats on waters and on land only located on the westerly side of Bayview Avenue between West 7th Street and West 10th Street, bayside, within the Borough and to perform such other duties and responsibilities as the Mayor and Council and/or the Dock and Harbor Committee or any member thereof may direct and designate.
The annual salary or wages for the positions of Dock Master and Assistant Dock Master shall be as determined by the Mayor and Council and shall be paid in accordance with the terms and provisions of the Salary Ordinance.[1]
