A code regulating retail food-handling establishments, providing for
the inspection of such establishments and fixing penalties for violations
is hereby established pursuant to N.J.S.A. 26:3-69.1 to 26:3-69.6, inclusive.
A copy of the code is annexed hereto and made a part hereof without the inclusion
of the text herein. The code established and adopted by this section is described
and commonly known as the "Retail Food Handling Establishment Code of New
Jersey (1952)," as amended and supplemented. Three copies of the Retail Food
Handling Establishment Code of New Jersey (1952), as amended and supplemented,
have been placed on file in the office of the Secretary of the Board of Health
and shall remain on file there for the use and examination of the public.
A.
No person, firm, partnership or corporation shall operate
or cause to be operated a retail food-handling establishment unless he or
it shall have first registered with the Barnegat Light Board of Health.
B.
There shall be a single charge for the initial registration
in the amount of $20 for registering with the Barnegat Light Board of Health.
