A.Â
The City Manager and Corporation Counsel, whenever they
consider the interests of the City of Auburn will be served thereby, shall
have the authority to settle and compromise any claim against the City of
Auburn not exceeding the sum of $5,000.
B.Â
The compromise and settlement of any and
all claims exceeding the sum of $5,000 shall require the approval of City
Council.
