Any person who shall violate any provision of
this chapter, except as otherwise provided in this chapter, shall
be subject to a fine of not more than $500 or imprisonment for not
more than 15 days, or to both such fine and imprisonment.
Any person violating any of the provisions of
this chapter, except as otherwise provided herein, shall, in addition,
be civilly liable to the City for any expense, loss or damage occasioned
to the City by reason of such violation.
The Corporation Counsel, on his or her own initiative
or at the request of the Director of Municipal Utilities, shall have
the right to seek equitable relief in the name of the City to restrain
the violation of, or to compel compliance with, this chapter, or any
order or determination issued thereunder by the Director of Municipal
Utilities.
