[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees
of the Incorporated Village of Bayville 6-22-1981 by L.L. No. 3-1981; amended in its entirety 12-13-1982 by L.L. No. 4-1982. Subsequent amendments noted where applicable.]
It is the intention of the Mayor and the Board
of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Bayville to provide for
the publication of a Village newsletter and/or a yearly informative
booklet which is to be distributed to Village residents pursuant to
Village Law § 4-412.
There is hereby established as of the effective
date of this chapter a Village of Bayville Newsletter and/or Yearly
Informative Booklet, which Village Newsletter shall be published under
the direction and control of the Village Clerk Treasurer no more than
four times per annum and with reference to the Yearly Informative
Booklet to be published annually at the discretion of the Village
Board.
The Village of Bayville Newsletter and/or Yearly
Informative Booklet shall contain information relating to the official
acts and meetings of the officers, employees, boards, commissions,
departments and other agencies of the Village and all other pertinent
information consistent with the opinions of the Comptroller relating
to municipal government (Op. State Compt. Nos. 78-559, 79-383, 79-423).
Village funds shall be expended for the publication
and distribution of the Bayville Village Newsletter and/or Yearly
Informative Booklet.
