The provisions of this article shall apply except when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or official traffic control device.
A. 
Wherever a space shall be marked off on any street for the parking of an individual vehicle, every vehicle there parked shall be parked within the lines bounding such space.
B. 
Except where angle parking is authorized, every vehicle stopped, standing or parked upon a highway where there are no adjacent curbs shall be so stopped, standing or parked parallel with the edge of the roadway headed in the direction of lawful traffic.
A. 
No motor vehicle may be parked or stationed without a driver on any street, road or highway in the Incorporated Village of Bayville in any manner that interferes with, obstructs or prevents the passage over such street, road or highway of emergency or service vehicles.
B. 
As used in this section, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
EMERGENCY VEHICLES
Includes fire vehicles, police vehicles and ambulances, public or private.
SERVICE VEHICLES
Any public utility vehicles, public or private; sanitation and carting vehicles, public or private; and snow removal vehicles, public or private.
STREETS, ROADS AND HIGHWAYS
Any street, road or highway within the bounds of the Incorporated Village of Bayville, whether the same be public or private, and whether the same be publicly or privately maintained.
The parking of vehicles is prohibited at all times in those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule IX (§ 75-42).

The stopping and standing of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the locations described in Schedule XI (§ 75-44) at the times indicated.
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the locations described in Schedule XII (§ 75-45) during the times indicated.
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the locations described in Schedule XIII (§ 75-46) for a longer period of time than that designated.
In accordance with § 1640-a of the Vehicles and Traffic Law, traffic regulations are hereby adopted as follows for the shopping center parking lots listed below, a request in writing by the owner thereof having been received.
A. 
North Wind Shopping Center (premises known as lots 20 and 116 in Block 33 in Section 29).
(1) 
One-hour parking, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., in that portion of said shopping center south of Bayville Avenue, west of Perry Avenue and north of the stores located therein, and so designated by pavement markings and proper posting.
(2) 
No parking 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. in any portion of said shopping center.
(3) 
Employee parking only from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. in that portion of the said shopping center south and west of the stores therein designated by pavement markings and proper posting.
