The provisions of this article shall apply except when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or official traffic control device.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule X (§ 119-36), attached to and made a part of this chapter.

After establishment by any governmental agency of specially marked parking spaces for handicapped persons in multifamily dwellings, shopping centers and any other locations in the Town of Bethlehem, no person shall park a motor vehicle in such space unless a handicapped person is either a passenger, driver or occupant of the vehicle and the vehicle contains a designation issued by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, pursuant to § 1203-a of the Vehicle and Traffic Law, or a permit issued by the Town Clerk of the Town of Bethlehem which shall be displayed as required by the applicable statute. A "multifamily dwelling," for purposes of this chapter, shall be defined as a building designated to be occupied as a residence for three or more families.

A. 
Definitions. As used in this subsection:
COMMERCIAL VEHICLES
Vehicles in excess of 23 feet in length or 8,000 pounds in curb weight. For the purpose of this subsection, a "commercial vehicle" shall also include snow plow attachments, trailers, boats, campers, motor homes, recreational vehicles, storage containers, and heavy construction vehicles (such as backhoes, skid steers, excavators).
B. 
Parking permitted: the parking of commercial vehicles while said commercial vehicle is engaged in loading or unloading, including pickups and deliveries, at premises located on said street or is being used in connection with construction, maintenance and repairs or emergency service relating to the premises located within said street during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
C. 
Parking restriction. No person shall park or store any commercial vehicle on Town streets or highways between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
No person shall stop a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XI (§ 119-37), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XII (§ 119-38), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle between the hours specified in Schedule XIII (§ 119-39) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XIII, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time limit shown in Schedule XIV (§ 119-40) at any time between the hours listed in said Schedule XIV of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XIV, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
The locations described in Schedule XV (§ 119-41), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as loading zones.

The locations described in Schedule XVI,[1] attached hereto and made a part of this chapter are hereby designated as areas where angle parking is permitted. Signage and/or pavement markings shall be placed in such a manner as to indicate the authorization of angle parking.
