[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Boston 5-6-64 by resolution. Amendments noted where applicable.]
A. 
Regular meetings of the Town Board of the Town of Boston shall be held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, Boston State Road, Boston, New York.
B. 
Special meetings of the Town Board shall be called from time to time as provided for in the Town Law of the State of New York.
Items to be placed on the agenda for each regular meeting of the Town Board are to be filed in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Boston not later than 12:00 noon two days preceding the regular meeting. All items are to be considered in the order of receipt. Any matter to be considered or brought before the meeting of the Town Board which is not filed with the Town Clerk as above required and not contained on the written agenda shall be considered by the Town Board upon completion of all items before the Board on the written agenda and upon the consent of three members of the Town Board.
Written copies of the agenda shall be available to each member of the Town Board at the office of the Town Clerk at 12:00 noon of the day preceding the regular meeting of the Town Board. The Town Clerk shall prepare said agenda and shall post in the Town Hall a written copy thereof prior to the commencement of each Town Board meeting.

With the unanimous approval of the members of the Town Board present, no one individual Board member objecting thereto, a member of the public desiring to speak on an item contained in the agenda shall identify himself by name and address and then, with the consent of all Board members present, shall be allowed to speak on said subject for a period of not exceeding two minutes. Any such person who shall be denied the privilege of addressing the Board according to this rule shall have the right to address and file with the Board a written communication on the subject matter in question.
Fair and courteous treatment shall be extended to all persons appearing before the Town Board.
Meetings shall be called to order promptly at 7:30 p.m. on the day of the meeting and a roll call shall be taken by the Town Clerk, followed by pledge of allegiance to the flag.

Miscellaneous correspondence read by the Town Clerk.
Consideration of items on the written agenda according to order and any new business from the floor not on the written agenda as provided in Rule 2.
