To ensure pedestrian safety and the unobstructed use of sidewalks and to prevent potential hazards in congested areas, in the Downtown Business District, it shall be unlawful for any person to operate or ride, or coast upon any motorized and non-motorized skateboard, scooters, one-wheeled hoverboards, and/or EUCs (electric unicycles) that are designed for fun and leisure, within the limits of the Downtown Business District in the City of Bradford. The City recognizes the rights of individuals with disabilities to use motorized wheelchairs and mobility scooters for access.

Any person who shall violate any provision of this article commits a summary offense and, upon conviction, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 or to imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both.
