It shall be unlawful for any person or organization to solicit advertising for any type of program or on any tickets that would indicate that the Police Department is the sponsor by the use of the words "police" or "Stratford Police." No person shall represent himself as a Stratford police officer or police officer while selling ads or selling tickets.

Any person or organization violating this article shall be fined not more than $100 for each offense.
