Editor's Note: This chapter was derived from Section 6.51 of the Town of Yarmouth Bylaws and was originally adopted 3-9-1965 and amended 3-13-1973 and 4-9-1974.
No person shall permit more than one unregistered motor vehicle or trailer or major parts thereof, except for farm vehicles, to remain ungaraged on said person's premises at any time unless under a Class 1 or Class 2 license for the sale of motor vehicles (Chapter 140, §§ 57 to 69, of the Annotated Laws of Massachusetts) or unless written authorization is granted by the Selectmen following an investigation and report thereon by the Board of Health.
Authorization shall be granted only if no hazard to health or safety is involved and no unsightly conditions visible from adjacent property or public ways are created. Authorization for more than one unregistered vehicle shall be granted only following a public hearing, for which public notice shall be given.
This chapter shall be enforced by the Chief of Police.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be fined not more than $300 for each offense. Each day that such violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
