Town of Milton, NY Chapter 91 Games of Chance

§ 91-1 Authority; title.

This chapter is enacted pursuant to the authority of Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York and shall be known as the "Games of Chance Law of the Town of Milton."

§ 91-2 Definitions.

A. The words and terms used in this chapter shall have the same meaning as such words and terms are used in Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law, unless otherwise provided herein or the context requires a different meaning.

B. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:

OFFICER

The Enforcement Officer of the Town of Milton.

TOWN

The Town of Milton.

§ 91-3 Supervision and enforcement.

The Code Enforcement Officer of the Town of Milton shall exercise control over and supervision of all games of chance.

§ 91-4 Conduct of games; compliance with rules and regulations.

Games of chance may be conducted in the Town by an authorized organization, after obtaining a license therefor, in accordance with the provisions, requirements and limitations of Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law, the rules and regulations of the New York State Racing and Wagering Board and this chapter.

§ 91-5 Sunday games.

The conduct of games of chance on Sundays is authorized, except as otherwise provided in Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law.
