A. 
The Clerk-Treasurer shall have custody of the Corporate Seal, books, records and official communications. He shall act as Clerk of the Board of Trustees and of each village board and perform such other duties not inconsistent with his office as may be assigned him by the Board.
B. 
He shall, within three (3) days after the election or appointment of a village officer, notify such person of his election or appointment and advise him of any required oath of office or official bond.[1]
