Any person appointed as a member to any committee,
commission and board by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Page shall reside and be domiciled in the voting and magisterial district
in which the original appointment arose. Any person serving on a committee,
commission or board as appointed by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Page, Virginia, shall immediately notify the office of the
Administrator of the County of Page, Virginia, of his or her intention
to move from the voting and magisterial district in which he or she
resided at the time of appointment. Such person shall immediately
submit his or her resignation from the committee, commission or board
effective upon the date that the change of residence from the voting
and magisterial district shall occur, and if such person does not
voluntarily submit his or her resignation to the county, then the
county shall give the person written notice that his or her appointment
as a member of the committee, commission or board shall terminate
effective 30 days from the date of his or her change of residency
from the voting and magisterial district in which he or she was appointed.
Any person serving on a committee, commission
or board as appointed by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Page, Virginia, who shall not be in attendance at any two consecutive
scheduled meetings of such committee, commission or board on which
he or she serves without valid reason or who shall not be in attendance
a minimum of 50% of the scheduled meetings in any six-month consecutive
period without valid reason shall immediately submit his or her resignation
from such committee, commission or board, or otherwise such appointment
shall be terminated at the election of the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Page, Virginia.
