A.
There shall be a Department of Public Works, the head
of which shall be known as the "Director of Public Works." He shall be appointed
by the Township Manager and shall be subject to his jurisdiction and control.

B.
The Director of the Department of Public Works shall
perform and exercise all the powers, duties and functions now or hereafter
vested in or conferred upon the Township Engineer by the Optional Municipal
Charter Law,[1] applicable general law or other ordinances of the Township.
