There is hereby established the position of
Borough Historian
The Borough Historian shall serve for a term
of one year from January 1to December 31 of each year or until a successor
is appointed. The initial term shall commence upon appointment under
this article and expire on December 31, 2005.
The Borough Historian shall gather and record
the annual history of the growth and development of the Borough of
Palisades Park and report in writing to the Mayor and Council by November
1 of each year.
The annual salary of the Borough Historian shall
be as established by the Annual Salary Ordinance.[1]
The appointment of the Borough Historian shall
be by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Borough Council.
