The provisions of this chapter imposing a time
limit on parking shall not relieve any person of the duty to observe
other more-restrictive provisions prohibiting or limiting the stopping,
standing or parking of vehicles as set forth in N.J.S.A. 39:4-138
or any other New Jersey statute or as hereinafter provided.

A.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XI (§ 282-55), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
B.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time on any street within 50
feet of a stop sign, 25 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection, and
10 feet from a fire hydrant.
C.
No person shall double park their vehicle in a manner which impedes
the flow of traffic on any street at any time.
No person shall park a vehicle between the hours specified in Schedule XII (§ 282-56) of any day (except Sundays and public holidays) upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XII, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop or stand a vehicle between the hours specified in Schedule XIII (§ 282-57) of any day (except Sundays and public holidays) upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIII, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time limit shown in Schedule XIV (§ 282-58) at any time between the hours listed in Schedule XIV of any day (except Sundays and public holidays) upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIV, attached to and made a part of this chapter.

Trucks over four tons' gross weight are prohibited from parking on the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XV (§ 282-59), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
The locations described in Schedule XVI (§ 282-60), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as loading zones.
The locations described in Schedule XVII (§ 282-61), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as taxi stands.
The locations described in Schedule XVIII (§ 282-62), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as bus stops.
A.
MUNICIPAL PARKING AREA
Definitions. As used in this section, the following
terms shall have the meanings indicated:
Any area which is owned, leased or operated by the Borough
of Palisades Park whereon public parking of vehicles is permitted.
B.
No person shall park any motor vehicle in any municipal
parking area for a longer period of time than or in violation of the
regulations established below.
C.
No person shall park a vehicle in any municipal parking
area for a longer period of time than three hours between 10:00 a.m.
and 9:00 p.m.

D.
Trucks over two tons prohibited. No person shall park
any truck having a gross weight of more than two tons in any area
which is owned, leased or operated by the Borough wherein public parking
of vehicles is permitted at any time.
E.
The Mayor and Council may designate any such municipal parking areas as parking meter zones pursuant to § 282-27 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The time limit shall be two hours.
