The Health Officer, in his/her discretion, may terminate new employees
during the probationary period, and said termination and reduction shall not
be subject to any of the appeal or grievance procedures provided herein.
Probationary employees shall not be eligible for annual salary increments.
Annual salary increments, if any, shall be retroactive to the date the employee
attains permanent status.
Vacations shall accrue and may be taken during the probationary period
at the discretion of the Health Officer.
