It shall be grounds for the removal of any member
of a board or commission of the Incorporated Village of Freeport if
said member has, without being excused therefrom, failed to attend
either three or more consecutive meetings or more than 25% of the
regularly scheduled meetings of said board or commission within any
one calendar year.
The Chairman or Acting Chairman of said commission
or board shall report said nonattendance to the Board of Trustees,
who may remove said member and appoint a successor as otherwise provided
by law.
