A.
Basic fee. A basic annual fee of $25 is required as a condition precedent to the granting of an auctioneer's license.
B.
Additional fee. A fee of $25, in addition to the basic fee, shall be due and payable for each and every day during which a licensed auctioneer conducts an auction or acts as an auctioneer. Sections 138-12 and 138-13 of this article notwithstanding, no fee shall be required to be paid for a permit to conduct an auction directed to be held within the Village by the order of any court of competent jurisdiction or for a permit to a church or charitable, veterans, fraternal or religious organization to conduct an auction, the proceeds of which are to be devoted solely to the purposes of such organization.
