GENERAL REFERENCES
Governmental operations — See Ch. 24.
Effective as of the term commencing January 1, 2006, the term of office
of the Town Clerk shall be four years.
This chapter shall supersede § 24 of the Town Law, insofar as it is inconsistent with such section.
A proposition for the approval of this chapter shall be submitted to
the electors of the Town of North Hempstead at the general election to be
held on November 2, 2004, and this chapter shall become operative only if
approved by the affirmative vote of a majority of the qualified electors voting
upon such proposition.
