Except for vehicles displaying a current Port Jefferson parking decal, the standing or parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the following locations unless the vehicle occupies a numbered parking space for which the appropriate metered fee has been paid when required by the Village sign then posted at such location:

Public parking field bounded on the east by stores on the west side of Main Street;

Public parking field bounded on the north by Arden Place, commonly known as "around the block parking";

Public parking field bounded on the north by creek to rear of Village Hall and on the east by Village tennis courts;

Public parking field bounded on the south by Arden Place and on the west by the building housing The Gap on the effective date of this section;

Public parking field bounded on the north by the Long Island Sound and on the west and south by the buildings housing Danford's on the effective date of this section.
