For the purpose of this chapter, the incorporated
territory of the Town of Myersville is hereby divided into the following
districts:

Multifamily Residential District
|
GC
|
General Commercial District
|
VC
|
Village Center District
|
Boundaries of these districts are hereby established
as shown on the Zoning Map, and which map is hereby made a part of
this chapter. Said Zoning Map, properly attested, shall remain on
file in the office of the Planning Commission and in the office of
the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Frederick, Maryland.
Except where referenced on the Zoning Map to
a road line or other designated line by dimensions shown on the map,
the district boundary lines are intended to follow property lines,
lot lines or the center lines of roads or alleys as they existed at
the time of the adoption of this chapter (May 28, 1976).
The uses permitted in the districts established by this chapter and the permitted extent (dimensional requirements) of these uses are as specified in the regulations for the respective district. The uses permitted in each district are the only uses permitted in that district and all other uses are subject to §
165-31 following. Unless otherwise noted, the dimensional standards of the district are the minimum requirements for each use, except:
A. Modifications to these requirements are set forth in Article
XII.
B. Special standard for special exception uses are set forth in §
165-87.
Any use not specifically allowed elsewhere in
this chapter shall be allowed by special exception from the Board
of Appeals in the district or districts, where, and to the extent
that similar uses are permitted or allowed by special exception, provided
that said use meets the requirements for a special exception.
