A Municipal Court is hereby established in accordance
with P.L. 1948, c. 264, and the amendments thereto and supplements
thereof.[1]

Said Court shall have all the powers, duties
and jurisdiction as provided by the laws of the State of New Jersey.

A.
All
requests for discovery in matters pending before the Brooklawn Municipal
Court shall be submitted through the Municipal Prosecutor.
B.
In
accordance with N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5, the following fees shall be payable
by the requestor to the Borough of Brooklawn for the discovery provided:
(1)
Letter-size pages or smaller: $0.05 per page.
(2)
Legal-size page or larger: $0.07 per page.
(3)
If the actual cost to produce the paper copy exceeds the rates of
$0.05 and/or $0.07, the actual costs of duplication will be charged.
(4)
Actual postage for any documents sent by mail.
(5)
Actual costs for the envelope for any documents sent by mail.
(6)
Photographs will be photocopied at the actual cost. If requests are
made for supplicate photographs, the actual cost of making the photographs
shall be charged.
(7)
Duplication of videotapes, computer disc, CD-ROM and/or DVD will
be charged the actual costs to provide this record.
(8)
Any document that has to be retrieved from the off-site record archive
facility will be charged the actual costs to retrieve this document.
C.
Where
the discovery must be obtained from an entity other than the Borough
of Brooklawn (e.g., another police agency, etc.), the actual costs
paid by the Borough of Brooklawn to the other entity shall be paid
by the requestor.
