The provisions of this article imposing a time
limit on parking shall not relieve any person of the duty to observe
other and more restrictive provisions prohibiting or limiting the
stopping, standing or parking of vehicles as set forth in N.J.S.A.
39:4-138, any other New Jersey statute or as hereinafter provided.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule A (§
141-33), attached to and made a part of this chapter.

No person shall park a vehicle at any time on
or between the curb and sidewalk of any street or part thereof within
the Borough of Brooklawn.

No person shall park any trailer or any recreational
vehicle, as defined in N.J.S.A. 39:1-1, any boat or boat/trailer combination
or commercial-type equipment, including but not limited to chippers,
boats, boat trailers, mixers, backhoes, bulldozers or landscaping
trailers, on any of the streets or parts thereof in the Borough of
Brooklawn, or upon any property owned by the Borough of Brooklawn.
Nothing herein, however, shall prohibit the temporary parking of a
commercial vehicle for the purpose of performing services or making
pickups or deliveries in the regular course of business.
No person shall park a vehicle between the hours specified in Schedule B (§
141-34) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule B, attached to and made a part of this chapter.

The following restrictions shall be placed upon vehicular parking
in the municipally owned parking lot adjacent to the Brooklawn Municipal
Building, designated on the Tax Map of the Borough of Brooklawn as
Block 107, Lot 2:
A. No vehicle shall park in the municipally owned parking lot adjacent
to the Brooklawn Municipal Building for a period of time in excess
of four continuous hours, unless the operator of said vehicle is engaged
in specific governmental business within the Brooklawn Municipal Building,
or express permission has been given to the owner of the vehicle by
the Director of Public Safety or the Chief of Police to park in excess
of the time limit herein imposed.
B. Four parking spaces adjacent to the Brooklawn Municipal Building
shall be designated as "Employee Parking Only," and no person shall
park a vehicle in said designated parking spaces during normal Borough
business hours unless said person is employed by the Borough of Brooklawn.
C. Three parking spaces adjacent to the Brooklawn Municipal Building
shall be designated as "15 Minute Parking Only," and no person shall
park a vehicle in said designated parking spaces during normal business
hours in excess of 15 minutes.
D. No person shall stop or stand a vehicle in the municipally owned
parking lot adjacent to the Brooklawn Municipal Building on school
days between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., unless express permission
has been given to the owner and/or operator of the vehicle by the
Director of Public Safety or the Chief of Police.
No person shall stop or stand a vehicle during
the times specified in Schedule C (§ 141- 35) of any day,
unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets
described in said Schedule C, attached to and made a part of this
chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than
the time limit shown in Schedule D (§ 141- 36) at any time
between the hours listed in said Schedule D of any day, unless otherwise
indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in
said Schedule D, attached to and made a part of this chapter.

The parts of streets described in Schedule U (§
141-52.1) of this chapter are hereby designated as parts of streets authorized for designation, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 39:4-197.6, as restricted parking spaces for use by persons displaying on their vehicle a windshield placard or wheelchair symbol license plates issued by the New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles pursuant to N.J.S.A. 39:4-204 et seq.
Any unoccupied motor vehicle parked or standing
in violation of this article shall be deemed a nuisance and a menace
to the safe and proper regulation of traffic within the Borough of
Brooklawn, and any police officer, appropriate public official or
employee of the said borough may provide for the removal of such motor
vehicle. The owner of said motor vehicle shall pay the reasonable
costs of removing same and storage, if any, prior to regaining the
possession of said motor vehicle.
