A. No gas station or private motor vehicle fuel pump shall be permitted,
enlarged or altered except upon application to and approval of the
Planning Board. The Planning Board, in passing upon any such application,
shall consider:
(1) The location of the proposed establishment or the establishment sought
to be enlarged or altered and its proximity to a school, church or
other similar public gathering place.
(2) Any other factor having a bearing upon the health, safety and general
welfare of the residents of the community.
B. In Block 101, Lots 2, 3, 5, and 6 of the Brooklawn Redevelopment
Area only, unless paired with a convenience store as a permitted use,
no gas station or private motor vehicle fuel pump shall be permitted,
enlarged or altered except upon application to and approval of the
Planning Board.

A. No gas station shall hereafter be constructed less than 500 feet
from a school, church or other similar public gathering place, measured
in a straight line from the nearest points of the respective property
lines.
B. In Block 101, Lots 2, 3, 5, and 6 of the Brooklawn Redevelopment
Area only, no gas station shall hereafter be constructed less than
100 feet from a school, church or other similar public gathering place,
measured in a straight line from the nearest points of the respective
property lines.
No equipment for the dispensing of motor fuel
or oil shall be placed less than 10 feet from any property line.
The top of every motor fuel storage tank shall
be at least 36 inches below the level of the finished grade.
The Board of Adjustment may require public notice
and hearing on applications required by this Article.
