As a general principle, the Borough of East Rutherford has a "no tolerance" policy towards workplace wrongdoing. Borough officials, employees and independent contractors are to report anything perceived to be improper. The Borough of East Rutherford believes strongly in an open door policy and encourages employees to talk with their supervisor, department head, the Personnel Administrator or the Employment Attorney concerning any problem.
This Employee Handbook is intended to provide guidelines covering public service by Borough of East Rutherford employees and is not a contract.
