Editor's Note: A resolution of the Township Committee of the Township of Plainsboro adopted 3-21-1972 stated that the Middlesex County Traffic Safety Coordinator had requested the New Jersey Department of Transportation to speed zone Middlesex County Highway R-4-2 and that the Department of Transportation had conducted investigations and had reported on realistic speed limits for the various zones of County Highway R-4-2. The highway was divided into eight numbered zones and a school zone, and the resolution concurred in the speed limits set for these zones. An ordinance adopted by the Township Committee of Plainsboro on 4-9-1973 to effectuate the speed limits dealt only with the zones or parts of zones in the Township.
