No person shall engage in a transient business in the village without first obtaining a license therefor.
As herein to be construed, a "transient business" is one conducted in any store, office, building, tent, open lot, motor vehicle or wagon for the retail sale of goods, wares and merchandise advertised or represented to the public to be bankrupt stock, assigned stock, fire-damaged, water-damaged or by any like representation or device.

The fee established for the issuance of a license for the conduct of a transient retail business shall be as set forth from time to time by the Board of Trustees.[1]
