The provisions of this article shall apply except
when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other
traffic or in compliance with the directions for a police officer
or official traffic control device.
Except where angle parking is authorized, every
vehicle stopped, standing or parked upon a highway where there are
no adjacent curbs shall be so stopped, standing or parked parallel
with the edge of the roadway headed in the direction of lawful traffic.
A.
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited on all highways within
the Village between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. from November 1 to April
1 of each year.
B.
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the Joint Town and
Village parking lot adjacent to the Town/Village Municipal Building
(from Center Street southerly to Railroad Street then westerly to
Depot Street) between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. from November 1 to April
1 of each year.
