Notice is hereby given to all City employees of the City of Lackawanna, New York that the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensing, possession or use of a controlled substance is prohibited in each and every workplace of employees of this City. Employees who violate this prohibition may be subject to disciplinary actions as appropriate under applicable law and applicable provisions of collective bargaining agreements.

Each employee is hereby notified that as a condition of employment, all employees must abide by the terms of § 36-1 above, and said employee shall notify his supervisor by written notice of any criminal drug statute violation charged against him/her occurring on or off the workplace no later than five days after such arrest or conviction for said occurrence.
Notice is hereby given to all employees that if you need help, assistance or counseling for controlled substance abuse to contact your immediate superior or the Office of the Director of Administration and Finance, City Hall, 714 Ridge Road, Lackawanna, New York 14218.
This article shall be conspicuously posted on the bulletin board in each City workplace.
