Building Inspector — See Ch. 5.
The position of Deputy Building Inspector is hereby created in the Town
of Wilson who shall be appointed by the Town Board and shall have all the
powers, duties and authority as enumerated in § 138, Town Law. The
position shall be part time.
Section 3 of The Public Officers Law is amended so that § 138
of the Town Law or any other law requiring a person to be a resident of the
Town of Wilson for which a Deputy Building Inspector shall be chosen or within
which official functions are required to be exercised, shall not prevent a
person from holding the office of Deputy Town Building Inspector of the Town
of Wilson, provided that such person resides in Niagara County or an adjoining
County within the State of New York.
