The provisions of this chapter shall be severable,
and if any of its provisions shall be held to be unconstitutional,
illegal or otherwise invalid such decision shall not affect the validity
of any of the remaining provisions of this chapter. It is hereby declared
as a legislative intent that this chapter would have been adopted
had such unconstitutional, illegal or otherwise invalid provision
not been included herein.

A. Any person or persons violating any of the provisions of Article
II of this chapter shall be subject to a criminal fine not to exceed $1,000 per violation and imprisonment in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility to the extent allowed by law for the punishment of summary offenses. Enforcement of any such violations shall be by action brought before a District Justice in the same manner provided for the enforcement of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure.
B. Parking violations. Any person violating the provisions of Article
III or
IV of this chapter shall be subject to a criminal fine not to exceed $1,000 per violation and imprisonment in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility to the extent allowed by law for the punishment of summary offenses, provided that if a notice of violation is placed upon a vehicle, stating the monetary amount to be paid at the Police Department in satisfaction of the violation and the time within which such payment is to be made, the payment of the stated amount at the Police Department of the Township of Lower Salford within the stated time shall be deemed to be in full satisfaction of the violation. Enforcement of any such violations shall be by action brought before a District Justice in the same manner provided for the enforcement of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure.
