The Annual Town Meeting shall be held on the
first Monday in May, at which meeting all business pertaining to the
Town shall be transacted with the exception of the election of Town
officers and the determination of such matters as are by law required
to be determined by ballot, and if a legal holiday falls on the first
Monday, said business meeting shall be held on the Tuesday following
the first Monday.
The election of Town officers and the determination
of such matters as are by law required to be determined by ballot
shall be held on the second Monday in May, and if a legal holiday
falls on said second Monday, such election and matters to be determined
by ballot shall be held on the Tuesday following the second Monday.
