No person in the Borough shall:
A.
Go about from door to door or place himself in any
street or public place to beg or solicit alms or charity or collect
alms.
No person in the Borough shall:
A.
Have upon him any picklock, key, crow, jack, bit or
other implement with intent to break and enter into any building.
B.
Have upon him any pistol, dagger, cutlass, bludgeon
or other offensive or dangerous weapon with intent to assault any
person.
C.
Be found in or near any premises used for dwelling
purposes, or in any place or public resort or assemblage for business,
worship, amusement, or other lawful purposes, with intent to steal
any goods or chattels.
No person, while under the influence of intoxicating
liquor, shall loiter or assemble with others or create a disturbance
on the streets or in any public or quasi-public place
in the Borough or in a public conveyance within the Borough or go
in or upon any private property not his own, without the permission
of the owner or other person having the authority to grant such permission.
No person in the Borough shall:
A.
Utter loud and offensive or indecent language in any
street or public place, public conveyance or place to which the public
is invited;
B.
In any place, public or private, address or make audible
and offensive remarks or comments to or concerning any person passing
on public streets or public places, or in any railroad train or any
public conveyances in the Borough;
C.
In any place, public or private, molest or interfere
with any other person lawfully being in or upon such public street,
public place or public conveyance.
No person shall enter the building or lands
belonging to any public school district, wholly or partly, in the
Borough, or used and occupied for school purposes by any public school
in the Borough, and break, injure or deface said building or any part
thereof or fences connected to such building and lands.
No person shall:
A.
Disturb the exercises of any school in the Borough
or give annoyance to any pupil attending such school or to any teacher
therein;
B.
By noisy and disorderly conduct in any public library
or reading room in the Borough disturb or interrupt the quiet and
good order of those who resort to and use said library or reading
room for reading or study.
No person shall have concealed upon his person
within the Borough any offensive or dangerous weapon; provided, however,
that this section shall not apply to any person duly authorized under
the laws of this state to carry such weapon.
No person shall:
A.
Cast or throw any stick, stone, pebble or other substance,
nor shoot from any air gun, pistol, rifle or other weapon, any shot,
or ball or projectile at or against or into any public or private
conveyance within the Borough;
B.
Place any stick, stone or other substance upon any
street in the Borough with intent to damage any automobile or conveyance
passing thereon, or injure the passengers therein.
No person shall by word, act or other means
willfully and maliciously give or cause to be given a false fire alarm
or false police alarm.
No person shall willfully or maliciously destroy,
damage, or injure or spoil or deface any real or personal property
of another in the Borough.
No person shall, with intent to avoid payment
of his fare, travel on any public conveyance within the Borough, without
having paid his fare.
No person shall:
A.
Interfere with the proper transaction of business
in any court or similar place within the Borough where any legal action
or proceeding is being conducted, by any unruly, boisterous, or otherwise
disorderly conduct in or about the courtroom or place where the court
is in session, or where said legal proceeding is being conducted;
or
B.
Interfere by any offensive or abusive remarks to the
judge of the municipal court or person conducting proceedings therein
while such judge or person is engaged in the discharge of his duties.
No person shall make or aid, countenance or
assist in making any improper noise, riot, disturbance or breach of
the peace in any street or public place; nor disquiet any congregation
or assembly of any kind whatsoever in any house of worship or other
place by any rude, disorderly or indecent behavior of any kind.
No person shall allow or permit his house, shop,
tavern, store, place of business or other place connected therewith
to be used, frequented or resorted to by riotous or disorderly persons,
drunkards, prostitutes, gamblers, vagrants, common thieves, pickpockets,
burglars or common beggars, or suffer or permit such premises to become
riotous or disorderly at any time either by day or night.
A.
No person shall keep or maintain a disorderly house,
including, but not by way of limitation, a house of prostitution or
ill fame.
No person shall engage in fighting in any public
or private place in the Borough.
No person shall assemble with others in the
Borough for unlawful purposes or to the annoyance or disturbance of
pedestrians or residents.

Unless another penalty is expressly provided
by the laws of the State of New Jersey, every person convicted of
a violation of a provision of this chapter or any supplement hereto
shall be liable to a penalty of not less than $100, nor more than
$500, or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both.
