Except in the case of a request for a motor vehicle accident report not made in person, the fee assessed for the duplication of government record embodied in the form of printed matter shall be $0.05 per letter-size page or smaller, and $0.07 per legal-size page or larger.
(b) 
In the event a citizen of this state requests a copy of a motor vehicle accident report in any manner other than in person, an additional fee of up to $5 may be added to cover the administrative costs of the report in addition to the cost of copying the report as set forth in Subsection A(4)(a).

In the event that the actual costs for duplication of a record exceed the foregoing rates, the charge shall be the actual cost of duplicating the documents requested.
(13) 
Whenever the nature, format, manner of collation or volume of a record to be inspected, examined or copied is such that the record cannot be reproduced by ordinary document copying equipment in the ordinary business size or involves an extraordinary expenditure of time and effort to accommodate the request, the charge for the record shall be the actual cost to the Borough together with a service charge of $12 per hour for each hour required to duplicate the record. The requestor shall have the opportunity to review and object to the charge prior to it being incurred.

(14) 
In the event that the Borough does not maintain the record requested in the medium requested, the Borough shall either convert the record to the medium requested or provide a copy in some other meaningful medium. If a request is for a record in a medium not routinely used by the Borough, not routinely developed or maintained by the Borough or requiring a substantial amount of manipulation or programming of information technology, the cost for the record shall be the actual cost of duplication together with a special charge that shall be reasonable and shall be based upon the cost for any extensive use of information technology, or for the labor cost of personnel providing the service, that is actually incurred by the Borough or attributable to the Borough for the programming, clerical and supervisory assistance required, or both.

The applicant shall also deposit with the Borough, in the form of cash or certified check, a sum to cover the cost incurred in the review of the application by the Planning Consultant, Board Attorney or Borough Engineer or Borough Consulting Engineer(s) or any other consultants or specialists employed by said Borough or the governing body for decisions under:

Failure to do so may result in legal action, including but not limited to placing a lien on the property which is the subject of the application. Any balance from the deposit, after all review and inspection costs and appearance-at-meetings costs have been deducted therefrom, shall be refunded to the applicant.
(17) 
Deposit for Board of Adjustment applications for extensions.

(a) 
The applicant shall deposit a nonrefundable fee for each application for extension: $25.
(b) 
The applicant shall deposit with the Borough, in the form of cash or check, the sum for each granted extension of a six-month duration. The fee shall be paid in advance and will be refunded only if the Board denies the request. If construction is not completed within the six-month extension period, a new application will be required: $150.
