The hours of operation of any landfill situated in the Township of Mantua shall be those hours permitted by the tariff and any amendments thereto submitted by the landfill to and approved by the Board of Public Utilities in the New Jersey Department of Energy. No landfill situated in the Township of Mantua shall accept any solid or liquid waste for disposal except during the hours permitted in its tariff.
No person shall deliver solid or liquid waste for disposal to a landfill situated in the Township of Mantua other than between the hours specified in § 236-1 above.
As used in this chapter the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
PERSON
Any corporation, municipality, partnership, proprietorship or any other legal entity as well as any natural person.

A. 
Any landfill situated in the Township of Mantua or any person who violates the provisions of this chapter shall be liable to a penalty of imprisonment in the county jail or any place provided by the municipality for the detention of prisoners for a term up to but not exceeding 90 days or by a fine of not less than $100 and not more than $2,000 or by a period of community service up to but not exceeding 90 days, or any combination of the above. Each acceptance of waste for disposal by the landfill and each delivery of waste for disposal by any person other than that during permitted hours of operation shall be deemed a separate violation.
B. 
Each day that a violation exists, occurs or continues shall constitute a separate offense for the purpose of imposing the penalties referred to above.
