All concrete curbs installed after the adoption of this article shall be at least six inches in thickness at the top and seven inches in thickness at the bottom or base, giving a one-inch flare on the face, and shall be at least 18 inches in depth. Expansion joints at least 1/4 inch in width shall be cut not over 10 feet apart for the full width and depth of the curb. At every 30 feet a tar or asphalt filler of one-half-inch thickness shall be placed.
All concrete sidewalks installed after the adoption of this article shall be at least four inches in thickness and four feet in width. Expansion joints at least 1/4 inch in width shall be cut through the full thickness of the pavement every 10 feet, and at every 30 feet a tar or asphalt filler of one-half-inch thickness shall be placed. No sidewalk grades shall be depressed for use as driveways.
All concrete ramps installed after the adoption of this article shall be constructed in the area between the inside edge of the curb and the outside edge of the sidewalk and shall be at least six inches in thickness for the full width of the driveway.
All concrete driveway areas installed after the adoption of this article shall be constructed between the inside edge of the sidewalk and outside edge of the curb, including ramp and sidewalk, and shall be at least six inches in thickness for the entire width of the driveway. Curb openings shall not be depressed more than four inches below the adjoining curb, and the face of the adjoining curb shall be six inches above the gutter line of the completed roadway.
The concrete shall be Class B concrete composed of cement (one part), sand (1.75 parts) and coarse aggregate (3.5 parts), and to the consistency approved by the Township Engineer.
Each and every person, firm or corporation or abutting owner failing to comply with the specifications hereinabove set forth shall, within 10 days after notification of such failure by the Township Engineer, remove the offending concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, concrete ramp or concrete driveway and replace the same in full accord with the said specifications. In the event said person, firm or corporation or owner of the abutting premises fails to remove the offending concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, concrete ramp or concrete driveway, the Township of Mantua shall have the right to have the same removed and replaced at the expense of the owner of the abutting land.

A. 
Any person, entity or corporation who or which violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by one or more of the following: imprisonment in the county jail or any place provided by the municipality for the detention of prisoners for a term up to but not exceeding 90 days or by a fine of not less than $100 and not more than $2,000 or by a period of community service up to but not exceeding 90 days, or any combination of the above.
B. 
Each day that a violation exists, occurs or continues shall constitute a separate offense for the purpose of imposing the penalties referred to above.
