[Added 7-15-1985 by L.L. No. 22-1985]
Any person discharging industrial waste shall notify the Superintendent
immediately upon accidentally discharging wastes in violation of this chapter.
This notification shall be followed, within 15 days of the date of occurrence,
by a detailed written statement describing the cause of the accidental discharge
and the measures being taken to prevent future occurrences. Such notification
will not relieve liability for any expenses, loss or damage to the sewage
works or any fines imposed on the Village under applicable state and federal
regulations as to discharges of industrial waste. Persons discharging industrial
waste are to post a notice advising their employees to call the Village office
in case of an accidental discharge in violation of this chapter for their
information.
