From and after the 31st day of December 1968, there shall be but one Assessor for the Town of Mount Pleasant.

Editor's Note: Former ~ 4-1. Termination of office of three Assessors, which immediately preceded this section, was deleted at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I).
On the first day of January 1969, and biennially thereafter, the Town Board of the Town of Mount Pleasant shall appoint one Assessor for such town, who shall receive a salary to be fixed by the Town Board as other salaries are fixed and paid.
Two Deputy Assessors shall be appointed to assist said Assessor.
On the first day of January 1969, a Board of Review consisting of three members shall be appointed by the Town Board at a per diem rate of compensation to be fixed by the Town Board. Said Board of Review shall appoint its own Chairman, and said Board of Review shall hear and determine complaints in relation to the assessment roll.
